Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Occasionally shipping times will be significantly longer (Such as when I am on vacation). There should be a banner at the top of the store pages letting you know when orders will ship at those times.
Since we are in a rural area there can occasionally be delays due to local flooding (Our road can be blocked) and wildfires. In these cases we will make every effort to indicate the delays at the top of the store pages but may not be able to.
Small Item Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates (Software, books and other small, light items)
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Orders over $75 ship economy for free in the US. You can still select a faster shipping method at your expense if desired.

Media mail through the USPS is a low cost service that is limited to books and educational products that have no advertising (With a few exceptions like a order form from the book publisher). This option will only be available on orders that qualify. If you order multiple items then the order will be split with media mail items shipping separately. Note that under no circumstances do video games (even educational ones) and magazines qualify. If your order is using our flat economy or free shipping then some, or all, items may ship via media mail if they qualify.
Large or Heavy Item Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates (Computers, disk drives, etc...)
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout unless the item is marked as having free shipping.
Shipping these items have a significant packaging and shipping cost so shipping can be very expensive. Local pickup is recommended!
There is a $20 handling fee on most of these items (Unless the item has free shipping) to help defray the significant cost of double boxing to ensure items get to you in one piece.

Local Pickup or Meetup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. If you leave a phone number at checkout we will text you to arrange pickup in the Eugene/Springfield Oregon area.
International Shipping
We will eventually offer international shipping to the following countries:
- Canada
- Mexico
- Great Brittain
- Much of the EU
Other countries may be added later
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number (Assuming you selected a trackable shipping method) you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. Some shipping methods may not be available and shipping delays may occur.
